Job description

Family Medicine APP

Goshen Physicians is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. This is a full-time position with shared call.  We’re looking for a passionate APP to work in a team-centered, collaborative environment. We’re looking for an APP to deliver high-quality care for patients presenting with acute symptoms and/or minor injuries, whether they arrive with or without an appointment.  This role will also see patient overflow when physician schedules are full.

The provider will not maintain an ongoing patient panel. However, chronic follow-up visits and wellness exams may be scheduled when a physician is out of the office for PTO or FMLA. Strong clinical judgment, flexibility, and a team-oriented approach are essential for success in this position.

Goshen Physicians is a multi-specialty group dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of Northern Indiana, serving a regional population of 220,000. The network consists of both primary care and specialty providers, allowing us to offer the highest quality of care for a wide range of conditions. We are a leader in the region with a strong Accountable Care Organization, and we take great pride in implementing cutting-edge strategies in population health. Join a Network that prioritizes work/life balance, physician autonomy, a culture of camaraderie and excellence, as well as a team-based approach to patient care.

 Candidate Requirements:

  • Shared call (1 in 15)
  • Provide care for the individual and family across all genders, diseases, and parts of the body
  • Focus on community, emphasizing disease prevention, wellness, and health promotion
  • Provide personal, comprehensive, and continuing care for the individual in the context of the family and the community
  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required

Community: Work/Life Balance is important, and we hope you’ll find that Goshen fits your individual & family needs. Our area is a wonderful place to raise a family: safe, strong public and private schools, along with an affordable cost of living! We are located 30 minutes from South Bend (home of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish), 2 hours east of Chicago, and 2 hours north of Indianapolis. The culture here is ‘Midwest Nice’ where neighbors help neighbors, and we have pride in our communities. Our area is a ‘melting pot’ of various cultures, including large Hispanic and Amish populations. Life here is great, away from the rush and traffic of city life, but still with easy access to larger cities, international airports, etc. You will enjoy the many state parks & inland lakes, various year-round festivals, a booming food/brewery/winery culture, college and professional level sports teams, etc.
