Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an App Developer to support an intelligence program. This position is fully on site in Herndon, VA. This is a long-term opportunity on a newly awarded federal contract. Responsibilities of the App Developer: Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
Correct program errors, compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
Ensure software standards are defined and met. Required Qualifications of the App Developer: Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance
Java development experience
Ability to work with XML
Proven experience in COTS/FOSS integration and support
Ability to troubleshoot and navigate multiple operating system environments including LINUX/Windows
Bachelor’s degree
Compensation for the App Developer Salary Range: $130,000-$195,000 depending on experience
