Job description

The APO Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production of high-quality pouches while adhering to safety and quality standards. Opportunity is for 2nd Shift M-F 3pm-11:30pm
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machines to produce pouches according to specifications
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain optimal production levels
  • Maintain accurate production records via electronic and manual means and report any discrepancies to the Production Supervisor
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and improve processes
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications
  • Perform all job duties as assigned in the APO department

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in machine operation, G.D. machines preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
