Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team. The APN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with our physicians and healthcare team. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic conditions, as well as promoting wellness and disease prevention.
Advocare, LLC is a physician-owned partnership of leading pediatricians, family practitioners, and specialists in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. At our office serving Paterson, NJ and surrounding communities, we believe that raising a child is a rewarding as well as a challenging experience for a parent. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain medical histories.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state regulations.
  • Perform medication monitoring and prescribe medications as necessary.
  • Educate patients and families on health management, prevention, and treatment options and medications.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in nursing with a sub-specialty in Family Care
  • Valid NJ FNP or APN, RN, CDS, DEA required
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Spanish/Arabic Speaking a Plus

Salary Description
