Job Summary:
Southeast Airport Services is seeking an experienced and motivated APM Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our APM Agent team. The APM Supervisor ensures passengers receive excellent customer service and safe, efficient guidance through the airport during periods when the Automated People Mover (train) is unavailable. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to maintain smooth operations, uphold service standards, and enforce compliance with airport procedures.
Job Location: MCO Orlando International Airport
Job Status: Full- Time and Part-Time
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate APM Agents assisting passengers between the terminal and concourses.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure customer service and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues and passenger concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with airport operations, security, and airline partners to ensure efficient passenger flow.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, or escalations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure staff follow safety, security, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity involving customer service, hospitality setting.
  • Minimum of (1) year experience Airport experience.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently in a professional manner.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of corrective action processes and staff performance management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/holidays and weekends.
  • Must be able to frequently and steadily lift baggage at 50 pounds or above.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check to be badged in secure areas of an airport.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Valid Social Security.
  • Valid Passport or birth certificate.
  • If non-US Citizens valid working permit.

Shifts and Pay rates:
1st shift 4:00am to 12:30pm - Pay Rate: $20.75
2nd Shift: 12:00pm to 8:30pm - Pay Rate: $20.75
3rd Shift: 8:00pm to 4:30am - Pay Rate: $21.75
