Job description

InvestCloud APL operates one of the most powerful and differentiated data assets in wealth management. With more than $4T in AUM, over 4M active model sleeves, and 90+ custodian feeds normalized into a unified data infrastructure, APL sits at the center of portfolio construction, allocation change, and distribution activity across many of the largest wealth managers in the U.S.
We are building a data and analytics business on top of that foundation, spanning structured client data delivery, distribution intelligence for asset managers, and portfolio construction benchmarking for wealth managers. This is not an incremental feature role. It is an opportunity to define and commercialize a category-shaping product set built on data no competitor, custodian, or market data provider can replicate.
The Product Manager, Data & Analytics will own the offering end to end, from product vision and roadmap through commercialization, first revenue, and scaled growth. This role requires a rare combination of strategic product leadership, technical fluency, and commercial judgment. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable shaping data entitlements and schema decisions with engineering, leading executive-level client discovery, and driving pricing and go-to-market decisions with commercial leadership.
This is a highly visible role for a senior product leader who wants to build a differentiated business, influence executive decisions, and translate a unique market position into meaningful client and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap
  • Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for InvestCloud's data and analytics offering.
  • Identify and prioritize the highest-value use cases, balancing near-term commercial opportunities with long-term platform value.
  • Develop a clear product narrative that articulates client value, market differentiation, and strategic importance to executive stakeholders and go-to-market teams.

Client Use Cases and Market Discovery
  • Shape offerings that help asset managers understand adoption trends, competitive positioning, and distribution opportunities across advisor and wealth channels.
  • Define analytics capabilities that give wealth manager CIOs a clearer view of model construction, advisor usage, and peer benchmarking.
  • Enable clients to consume APL operational data, including performance, fees, and trading activity, in a clean, structured, analytics-ready format.
  • Lead structured discovery with senior client stakeholders to validate use cases, sharpen product-market fit, and support the commercial pipeline.

Product Delivery and Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Lead the product lifecycle from concept through launch, adoption, and ongoing enhancement.
  • Partner closely with Data Engineering, Design, Legal, Compliance, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams to bring new capabilities to market.
  • Contribute to key product and platform decisions involving data models, data lineage, entitlements, normalization, and analytics architecture.
  • Navigate the complexity of regulated financial data, including client confidentiality, data rights, and public/private market data considerations.
  • Surface risks early, align stakeholders, and drive timely, well-supported product decisions.

Commercialization and Business Ownership
  • Partner with strategy and commercial leaders to define pricing, packaging, monetization, and target segments.
  • Support business case development, investment planning, and executive approvals with clear commercial rationale and growth potential.
  • Help establish the offering as a scalable business with measurable revenue impact and a credible path to expansion.

Stakeholder and Client Leadership
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior client buyers, commercial leaders, engineering partners, and executive sponsors.
  • Serve as a trusted product leader in client discussions, internal steering forums, and cross-functional planning.
  • Present product direction, progress, risks, and business cases clearly and credibly to senior leadership.

Qualifications
Required
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with meaningful ownership of data, analytics, fintech, or wealth technology products.
  • Proven experience taking B2B products from concept through launch, adoption, and commercialization.
  • Strong understanding of financial services, wealth management, asset management, or adjacent market structures.
  • Technical fluency in data platforms, data models, analytics infrastructure, and related product trade-offs.
  • Strong commercial instincts, including experience with pricing, market positioning, or revenue-oriented product decisions.
  • Ability to operate effectively across complex organizations and align diverse stakeholders around clear priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging both senior executives and sophisticated clients.

Preferred
  • Experience in managed accounts, model portfolio infrastructure, or wealth management technology platforms.
  • Experience with investment data, distribution analytics, benchmarking, or other data monetization products.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms.
  • Experience working in agile product environments and with tools such as Jira.
  • Exposure to product marketing, pre-sales, or enterprise client engagement.

Success Measures
  • A clear product strategy, roadmap, and commercialization plan established for the data and analytics offering.
  • Priority use cases validated with target clients and translated into a focused, credible delivery plan.
  • Initial clients launched successfully with strong early adoption, commercial traction, and retention signals.
  • The offering positioned as a differentiated growth business with a defined path to scaled investment and expansion.
