Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Restful APIs using Java and related technologies.
  • Utilize tools like Splunk, Swagger, Postman, and Assertible for API development and testing purposes.
  • Write, configure, and maintain API proxies on Apigee (OPDK)
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug issues on API Gateway platforms.
  • Strong understanding on security model, oath concepts.
  • Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure API solutions align with business requirements and best practice.

Qualification

  • 5-8 years of overall professional experience in software development
  • Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in designing and developing APIs using Java
  • Proven experience in designing well-defined Restful APIs
  • Proficiency in API tools such as Splunk, Swagger, Postman, and Assertible
  • Hands-on experience in writing API proxies on Apigee platform
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to debug issues on Apigee Gateway
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of APIs is a plus.
