We are seeking an experienced API 510 / 570 inspector at a minimum, 653 is a plus for full-time work in Pasadena, TX. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. API 510/570 Inspection and ability to follow and draw isometric drawings. Non-exempt role; Reports to Site Manager; Close Supervision assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • API 510/570 Certification, 653 is a plus
  • TWIC card is required
  • Valid API certifications and relevant experience
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, turnaround environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
  • Documentation needed: certifications and resume
  • Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
  • Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
  • Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace

Functional Requirements:

  • Assists in performing duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code
  • Assist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up
  • Assist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment
  • Assist in applying testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards
  • Assist in performing other job-related tasks as assigned by certified inspector/technician
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
