QA Manager – Automation

Position: QA Manager – Automation

Location: Ashburn, VA or Tampa, FL (Onsite/Hybrid as per client requirement)

Job Type: C2C 12 months contract

Experience: 15+ years in QA, with strong automation expertise

Interview Process: 2-3 rounds of video interviews

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Create and maintain scalable automation frameworks utilizing Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and Maven.
  • API Testing: Develop and execute API test automation using tools like REST Assured and Postman.
  • Test Strategy: Formulate and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA engineers and testers to foster a culture of quality.
  • Testing Coordination: Oversee testing efforts for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Environment Management: Manage test environments, tools, and associated data effectively.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on testing metrics, defect trends, and overall release readiness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and DevOps, to meet quality objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and drive continuous improvement in testing processes and automation frameworks.
