Make Ready Technician - Apartment Building (Seattle)
We're hiring a Make Ready Technician for our apartment community in Bellevue! If you have a knack for preparing spaces and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
About the Role: As a Make Ready Technician, you'll ensure all vacated apartments are efficiently restored to "make ready" status for new residents. You'll be responsible for inspecting units, completing checklists, and performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists
  • Record unit turn requirements in Onesite/Facilities
  • Meet quality standards for unit readiness and inventory
  • Perform drywall repairs, touch-up painting, and basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs
  • Replace or repair windows, screens, doors, shelves, baseboards, lights, and more
  • Assist with painting and exterior repairs
  • Make new keys and manage lock changes
  • Help with trash-out and moving bulky items
  • Report supply needs to management
  • Participate in on-call rotation
Requirements:
  • Experience with apartment maintenance or Maintenance/Repair role
  • Basic skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability plus
  • The ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 lbs.
