Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $25hr - $30hr
 
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Requires developing job knowledge/skills on AOI and Circuit soldering.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to work from work instructions, inspection criteria, drawings, and applicable quality standards.
  • Ability to follow established inspection and production processes to complete tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs inspection of circuit card assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment to verify compliance with workmanship standards and manufacturing requirements.
  • Operates, monitors, and supports AOI systems used to detect component placement issues, solder defects, polarity errors, missing parts, and other visible assembly nonconformances.
  • Reviews inspection results, identifies straightforward defects, documents findings, and escalates discrepancies as needed.
  • Assists with basic troubleshooting of AOI equipment, recipe verification, and production support activities to maintain workflow and product quality.
  • Assembles, aligns, and tests systems, components, and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements.
  • Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations and escalates issues to supervisor or quality personnel for resolution.
  • Works to achieve operational targets within job area to support team results.
