What is an Anytime?

'Anytime' jobs typically refer to flexible work opportunities that allow employees or freelancers to choose their own hours and work schedules. These jobs are not restricted to traditional 9-to-5 hours and may include remote, gig, or shift-based positions in industries like delivery, customer service, or online freelancing. 'Anytime' jobs appeal to people seeking work-life balance, students, parents, or anyone needing flexibility. Examples include driving for rideshare companies, food delivery, virtual assistance, and other on-demand services. Employers value workers in 'Anytime' roles for their ability to adapt to varying demand and provide coverage outside standard business hours.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Anytime?

I'm sorry, but 'Anytime' is not a valid professional job title.

What are some typical challenges faced by an Anytime Fitness personal trainer when building a client base?

As an Anytime Fitness personal trainer, one common challenge is building and maintaining a loyal client base, especially when starting out. Trainers often need to proactively engage with gym members, market their services, and demonstrate value through free sessions or assessments. Additionally, balancing administrative tasks, scheduling sessions, and keeping clients motivated can require strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Support from the club's management and collaboration with other staff members can be helpful, but trainers generally need to be self-driven and adaptable to succeed.

Club Associate - Workout Anytime Asheboro
We're hiring for our front desk in Asheboro - a part-time or full-time role for someone who likes being around people, takes care of the details, and wants to grow into the gym industry from a real starting point.
This isn't a sales job. Our club runs on RAMP (Resistance Applied Metabolic Prescription), a structured fitness program we prescribe to every member - not just the ones paying extra for personal training. Your job on shift is to be the person who makes the club feel welcoming, keeps things running while ownership is off the clock, and introduces new and prospective members to what we actually do here. No cold calls. No high-pressure closes. Just a club that works and a team that cares.
The Role:
You'll cover the club during working hours as the primary person front of house. That means greeting every member who walks in, answering the phone, keeping the club clean and operational, and being the first face a prospective member sees when they come in for a tour.
What You'll Do:
Greet and Know the Members - Learn the members who come in on your shift. Call them by name. Notice when someone is new and make sure they feel like they belong.
Answer the Phone - Pick up, be helpful, and take a real message when you can't answer something yourself. The phone is one of the most important things in the club - treat it that way.
Introduce Prospective Members to RAMP - Give walk-in tours without pressure. Explain what RAMP is, how it works, and why it produces better results than a standard gym membership. If someone wants to join, help them through the process. If they don't, thank them for coming in and leave the door open.
Follow Up with Leads - Call and email people who've asked about the club through the website, referrals, or renewals. The goal is to be helpful - answer questions, invite them in, and make it easy to take the next step when they're ready.
Keep the Club Sharp - Help with the maintenance and cleaning tasks that keep the club looking like a place worth coming back to. Every shift sets the standard the next one inherits.
Support Club Events - Lend a hand with marketing events, in-club promotions, and member appreciation activities.
Who You Are:
Positive, friendly, and genuinely comfortable around new people.
Reliable - when your shift starts, you start.
Comfortable on the phone (or willing to get there).
Organized enough to follow a process the same way every shift.
Interested in fitness, health, or wellness in some form - you don't have to be a gym rat, but this shouldn't be a world you have no connection to.
Background in customer service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or any people-facing role is a plus. Previous gym experience isn't required.
Compensation & Schedule:
Starting pay: $10.00-$11.00/hour. Pay increases as you demonstrate competence - the more of the role you master, the more you earn.
Part-time or Full-time, consistent shifts and schedule.
Free gym membership, uniforms provided, and discounts on certifications if you want to pursue them.
Continued education and a clear path to advancement for people who want to grow into larger roles on the team.
Why This Job Is Different
Most gym front-desk roles are commission-floor sales jobs with a title that hides the reality. This one isn't. We built this club around RAMP so the member experience doesn't depend on cornering people into decisions they don't want to make. Your job is to be good to members, run a clean shift, and help prospective members understand what we do. The numbers take care of themselves when the job is run right.
Hiring Process
A human will review your resume within 24 business hours, and your first interview will be scheduled within 48 business hours.
Compensation: $10.00 per hour
