What does 'Anxiety Free' mean in the context of mental health?

'Anxiety Free' refers to a state of well-being where a person experiences little to no anxiety symptoms in their daily life. It doesn't mean the complete absence of stress or worry, but rather the ability to manage anxious feelings effectively so they don't interfere with normal activities. Achieving an anxiety-free state often involves a combination of lifestyle changes, therapy, and sometimes medication. It's important to note that everyone's experience with anxiety is unique, and being 'anxiety free' can look different for each individual.

What is an anxiety free?

An Anxiety Free job refers to a work environment or role that minimizes stress, promotes mental well-being, and supports employees in managing anxiety. These jobs often have clear expectations, supportive management, and a healthy work-life balance. They may include flexible schedules, low-pressure tasks, or work settings designed to reduce stress.

What are some common challenges faced by mental health counselors specializing in anxiety disorders?

Mental Health Counselors who specialize in anxiety disorders often encounter challenges such as building trust with clients who may be hesitant to open up, staying up-to-date with evolving treatment methods, and managing high caseloads. They must also be skilled in tailoring interventions to individual client needs, since anxiety manifests differently from person to person. Collaboration with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and family members is often necessary to ensure comprehensive care and long-term progress.

Job description

Lead Dentist

At Rinse (YC S21) we're building the One Medical for dental. Beautiful studios, easy to book visits, and anxiety-free care focused on prevention, not the upsell. We're not interested in an incrementally better approach to dentistry... we're on a mission to remake it. From a state of the art, judgement free studio experience to the highest standards of care, we're committed to helping our patients prevent otherwise preventable issues. We call this -- modern mouth care.

Role Title: Lead Dentist Compensation: $800 - $2,000 / day Employment Type: Full-time Location: 1763 Union St. San Francisco, CA

The Role

Rinse Dental is a four-operatory, associate-led dental practice. As Lead Dentist, you'll have full clinical autonomy, leading the care for over 2,000 active patients (and growing). We are in-network for Delta Dental and fee-for-service for all other plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver an array of clinical servicesโ€”including fillings, inlays/onlays, crowns, simple extractions, orthodontics (invisible aligners), cosmetic procedures (like veneers and whitening), and emergency care.
  • Perform comprehensive exams, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate patients on oral health and care options.
  • Manage multiple treatment rooms and maintain a productive, balanced scheduleโ€”covering hygiene checks, operative care, same-day treatment, and emergency visits.
  • Drive production by completing full treatment plans efficiently while maintaining uncompromising quality and patient experience.
  • Lead and mentor dental assistants, collaborating closely with hygienists to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
  • Partner with studio and operational leadership to achieve production goals, uphold clinical excellence, and continuously improve workflows.
Qualifications
  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
  • Current, active California dental license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Active DEA registration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience (post residency) in private practice, DSO, or similar setting
  • Comfort with modern technology and a willingness to adopt digital workflows
  • Ability to work a Full Time schedule consisting of 5 days per week
Who Thrives
  • Dentists curious about new, science-backed ways to improve oral health
  • Passionate leaders who value prevention, education, and long-term relationships over production quotas
  • Tech-forward dentists excited to work with cutting-edge tools and systems
  • Team players who build inclusive, judgment-free environments for colleagues and patients
Technology / Equipment
  • Imaging: DTX Studio, KaVo OP 3D CBCT, KaVo Nomads, Dexis Digital Sensors, 3Shape Trios 4
  • Delivery: Electric handpieces, Hu-Friedy IMS Cassettes, IsoLite
  • Sterilization: Scican Hydrim, Ultrasonic, StaClave G4s, VistaPure water system
Benefits
  • Competitive daily minimum with % production
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401k
