What are antique auctions?

Antique auctions are events where rare, valuable, and often historical items are sold to the highest bidder. These auctions can be held in person or online and typically feature items such as furniture, art, jewelry, collectibles, and other objects that are considered antiques—generally over 100 years old. Bidders can inspect the items beforehand and participate in the auction by placing bids, with the highest offer winning the item. Antique auctions are popular among collectors, dealers, and enthusiasts seeking unique or investment-worthy pieces.
