Job description

Open Sky's Clubhouses are a member of the Massachusetts Clubhouse Coalition, an organization comprising 33 clubhouses throughout the Commonwealth and is a community dedicated to the rehabilitation of adults recovering from mental illness. Through a variety of meaningful and engaging tasks, members have the ability to develop or refresh employment skills, explore educational opportunities, and participate in social activities. Tradewinds Clubhouse provides services to residents of the Greater Southbridge Area.

The Driver provides transportation to individuals supported by the Clubhouse. They follow assigned routes and schedule for on time pick-up and drop-off and ensure assigned vehicle is clean and in good repair, promptly reporting any maintenance issues for resolution.

Other Key Responsibilities: 

  • Drive courteously and obey applicable traffic laws. 
  • Remain alert and focused, and avoid distractions while operating vehicle.
  • Treat individuals served with dignity and respect, and provide appropriate support to them while they are in your care.

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record, required,
  • Must meet MART Driving Standards.
  • Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.
