Job Overview:
Pay Range: $45.00hr - $50.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • 5+ years of experience designing mechanical components and systems from concept through production validation.
  • Emphasis on Plastics design/manufacturing experience skillset.
  • Strong working capability with CAD and CAE simulation (Solidworks, CATIA, Pro-Engineer, ANSYS, etc.).
 
  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform CAD, FEA, and durability simulation of concept designs, recommend physical prototype candidates, and execute testing.
  • Conduct technical design reviews and ensure compliance to standards (ASTM, ISTA, etc.).
  • Deliver finished designs, detailed drawings, and engineering specifications to be used for supplier bidding and compliance.
