Job description

The Sporting Club at The Bellevue features nearly 100,000 square feet of health, fitness, athletic and social facilities. The facility includes a basketball and pickleball court, state of the art fitness equipment, private saunas, an indoor Olympic sized pool, and various fitness classes. Additionally, the club features 2 squash courts and a golf pavilion with 3 simulators, a hitting net and putting green. Recently, the Sporting Club has gone through a complete renovation transforming it into the ultimate health and wellness destination in Philadelphia. 

The Sporting Club at The Bellevue has an exciting opportunity for a Fitness Floor Attendant to join our growing team. We are looking for an individual to be responsible for overseeing the Fitness Floor and providing exemplary service to The Sporting Club members. Attendants will need to educate members on the full usage of workout equipment and answer any/all questions adhering to best practices and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Fully understand the Technogym equipment
  • Educate members on the usage of BioStrength machines
  • Provide best in class service
  • Work with Personal Trainers and staff to keep a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
  • Work with Director of Fitness to come up with new ideas, special events, and provide meaningful feedback to boost our Sporting Club programs
  • Help coordinate other Fitness Department activities in Personal Training and Group Fitness classes
  • Assist with special membership programs and events
  • Other duties as assigned


 Position Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 1-year prior experience working in a fitness club
  • Good working knowledge of fitness and equipment
  • Current CPR/AED and first aid certification required


 Technical Skills/Knowledge: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service focus, professionalism, and discretion


 
Pay: $17/hour
