We are partnering with a well-established boutique CPA firm that specializes in tax services for partnerships, trusts, business entities, and high-net-worth individuals. With a small, high-performing team, the firm offers a professional, trust-based environment where accountability and collaboration are valued over micromanagement. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working closely with leadership and contributing meaningfully within a tight-knit firm.

The Role

The Senior Tax Accountant will play a key role in supporting tax compliance and client service across a sophisticated client base. This individual will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, communicating directly with clients, and proactively managing issues through to resolution. The firm is open to strong Staff Accountants with relevant experience who are ready to step into a more senior, hands-on role. Success in this position requires technical tax expertise, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review tax returns for partnerships, trusts, business entities, and high-net-worth individuals.

  • Communicate directly with clients to request documentation, answer questions, and follow up as needed.

  • Identify potential issues, take ownership of follow-up actions, and ensure timely resolution.

  • Collaborate closely with firm leadership and fellow team members on tax and client matters.

  • Support general office needs when required to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Adhere to firm processes, organizational standards, and strict confidentiality requirements.

Requirements
