  • Engage actively with clients around their treatment goals, maintaining an understanding of the harm-reduction model as you support their choices regarding moderation or abstinence.
  • Encourage clients to utilize available community recovery resources like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Smart Recovery, emphasizing the complementary nature of these supports.
  • Offer guidance and encouragement during the recovery process, reinforcing the importance of seeking help and utilizing available resources.
  • Participate in optional collaborative initiatives, such as leading support groups and partnering with our Content Manager to create “Expert Insights” for further client engagement.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience and training in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Trauma-Informed care.
  • Strong clinical engagement and communication skills that foster empathic connections with clients.
Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, prior experience working with substance use disorders or within community health contexts will be advantageous. An understanding of harm-reduction approaches and familiarity with community recovery support options will further enrich your contributions to our team.
