Job purpose

Role Overview
The Client Services - Annuity Specialist is responsible for accurately and promptly processing all new annuity account contract opening applications from submission through funding.
Furthermore, the Client Services - Annuity Specialist will activate and process income riders and other annuity benefit riders per carrier requirements.
This is fully on-site.
Duties and responsibilities
  • Accurately process all new annuity contract opening applications from submission through funding
  • Activate and process income riders and other annuity benefit riders per carrier requirements
  • Perform annuity withdrawals and systematic distribution requests.
  • Accurately enter and update annuity account data and case status into CRM
  • Follow up and resolve annuity cases that are not in good order or require additional information from clients or carriers
  • Liaise with annuity carriers to track policy issue status and ensure timely completion of all pending annuity transactions
  • Manage the full annuity case lifecycle including 1035 exchanges, direct rollovers, and transfer of funds from existing accounts
  • Provide advisors and clients with annuity policy status updates and carrier communication support

Qualifications
  • Associates degree or higher
  • Preferred 2 years' experience in financial services; annuity or insurance application processing experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Detailed oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite primarily email, calendar and excel
