About the role
The Associate Brand Manager enables IPs and Licensors to succeed in our streaming and other omnichannel experiences. You will be an essential partner between our Licensors and teams to promote and deliver marketing collaborations and events.
  • Know your assigned IPs thoroughly to promote marketing collaborations that align with the brand strategy.
  • Be the primary contact for the IP Licensor, provide periodic updates on new and existing IPs to each partner, and keep partners informed of changes to the exploitation strategy and the rationale behind them.
  • Oversee the exploitation and use of the IP's likeness by coordinating internal and external approvals with Licensors.
  • Coordinate marketing promotions for respective Licensors and their associated talent at events/conventions.
  • Pull and compile data and other reporting metrics while collaborating with other departments for content partners on a regular and ad hoc basis.
  • Support the Brand Management team with several administrative and operational responsibilities and daily operations.
  • Support Digital Manga projects, such as communicating with publishers and working with the GTM team.

As an Associate Brand Manager, you will report to the Director, Partner Relations and Content Marketing.

The Brand Management team is instrumental in ensuring the growth and engagement of our streaming platforms and other omnichannels. These platforms must appeal to licensors and their representatives, maintain credibility with our audiences, and set industry standards. The close collaboration with creators and licensors in Japan allows us to cater to a world-class anime experience. This collaboration, combined with the efforts of our global teams in marketing, communications, content, business development, and product management, enables us to provide this experience for our global anime fans!
