Job description

About the Role:

Our Account Executives work with Account Management leaders to apply knowledge about client's competitive landscape and understand data/business results and their impact. They should be a capable communication professional able to handle a broad variety of tasks with increasing independence and sound judgment. They are trusted to build relationships across all of Ogilvy's vast resources and capabilities. 

Here's what you'll be doing to support the Agency and Client growth

  • Establishing relationships with clients 
  • Being the day-to-day project contact with clients, creative teams and other agency partners   
  • Working integrally with all internal team members to facilitate the process of developing great work 
  • Basic understanding of staffing and scoping requirements  
  • Recognizing scope changes and elevating to Account Supervisors  
  • Working alongside planning and senior account management leaders to produce simple creative briefs  
  • Staying a step ahead of your team and client, anticipating their needs and driving next steps proactively. 
  • Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 
  • Executing media and advocacy relations activities and has working knowledge of media, influencers, advocates and their needs 
  • Basic analysis and presentation of client's business results and competitive landscapes to clients and agency team members 
  • Understanding & respecting every department's role within Ogilvy 
  • Contributes to the development and presentation of new businessprograms for potential and existing clients. 

 What You'll Need   

  • 2 + years of industry experience managing "the making" or delivery of great work 
  • Experience working on production (shoot, animation, adapt and studio) across a variety of media channels. 
  • Experience working on a CPG brand will be an asset. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Developed skills in research and analysis 
  • Demonstrate strong commercial abilities and business and financial acumen
