Job description

Who You'll Be Working With

At PMG, our Creative Motion Design team brings movement, clarity, and energy to the ideas that help brands connect with people in meaningful ways. As a Creative Motion Design Senior Lead, you'll work alongside motion designers, art directors, strategists, producers, and cross-functional partners across broadcasting, marketing, web, social media, and sponsorship to create work that feels purposeful, polished, and built for how audiences engage today.

You'll collaborate closely with designers, UX/UI partners, video and production teammates, and client-facing teams to turn strong ideas into compelling visual stories. This is a team that values curiosity, thoughtful craft, and fresh perspective-and one that embraces new tools, emerging technology, and creative experimentation to keep pushing the work forward.

What You Will Do

Design and animate compelling motion graphics that elevate media presentations, digital content, social storytelling, and branded experiences across channels.
Own motion work from concept through delivery, helping shape brainstorms, storyboards, design explorations, production, and final execution.
Create polished 2D and 3D animation that brings ideas to life and supports strong visual storytelling across digital, video, and interactive formats.
Translate scripts, briefs, and creative direction into engaging motion content that feels clear, intentional, and aligned with brand goals.
Partner with designers, art directors, strategists, producers, and cross-functional teams to develop motion that strengthens campaigns, presentations, and audience experiences.
Contribute to storyboarding sessions and support video production in studio and on location to help capture and build high-quality content.
Build, organize, and maintain shared 2D and 3D asset libraries that support consistency, speed, and flexibility across fast-moving projects.
Review and refine work for animation quality, design integrity, technical accuracy, and platform readiness, whether the final output is 2D, 3D, or a blend of both.
Render and deliver high-resolution motion assets optimized for a range of placements, platforms, and formats.
Explore new techniques, visual approaches, and emerging tools-including AI, automation, and technology-to improve craft, streamline workflows, and unlock new creative possibilities.
Bring fresh ideas, strong creative instincts, and thoughtful problem-solving to the team as motion design continues to evolve at PMG.

What You Will Bring

Bring experience in motion design, animation, graphic design, or a related creative discipline, supported by a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Apply branding and positioning instincts to create motion that feels distinct, strategic, and aligned with the story a brand wants to tell.
Use conceptual thinking to shape ideas from early exploration through final execution, translating briefs, scripts, and feedback into thoughtful creative solutions.
Create content with intention, using motion, design, and storytelling to make ideas more engaging, memorable, and easy to understand.
Pair creativity and innovation with strong execution, exploring fresh visual approaches while keeping the work polished, purposeful, and audience-ready.
Bring strong graphic design fundamentals, including composition, hierarchy, and layout, to build motion assets that are both visually compelling and highly functional.
Demonstrate strong motion design skills with a solid understanding of timing, pacing, transitions, and animation principles that bring stories to life.
Present ideas, works in progress, and final creative clearly and confidently, welcoming feedback and using collaboration to make the work stronger.
Manage project implementation with care, staying organized across timelines, deliverables, production details, and handoff needs.
Work confidently in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe After Effects, to design and animate assets efficiently across a range of formats and channels.
Use typography intentionally in motion, understanding how type, rhythm, and hierarchy support both storytelling and readability.
Bring experience with video production workflows, from storyboarding and shoots through post-production and final delivery.
Add depth and dimension to the work through 3D animation and 3D modeling, with experience in tools such as Maxon Cinema 4D.
Embrace new tools and evolving ways of working with curiosity, using technology to strengthen creative output and improve efficiency without losing the human touch behind the work.
A commitment to curiosity and adaptability as a Continual Learner, staying at the forefront of media innovation while prioritizing client success with a Customer-Focused mindset that seeks opportunities to deliver meaningful value.
A dedication to People-Focused leadership, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth by Leading by Example and nurturing strong relationships that empower others to excel.
