Job description

Independentย Learning Experience Designer (LXD)ย & eLearning Development Consultantย 

We are seeking independent contractors to provideย learning experience design and eLearning development services on a project or per hour basis, supporting customer education and product adoption initiatives.ย 

Scope of Servicesย 

  • Design and develop digital learning assets,ย includingย eLearning courses, microlearning, blended programs, and instructor-led materialsย 
  • Conduct learning needs analysisย and recommend instructional strategies, formats, and sequencingย ย 
  • Create learning design documentation (objectives, outlines, storyboards, scripts, and assessments)ย 
  • Develop interactive eLearning modulesย using tools such asย Articulate Storylineย andย Riseย 
  • Produceย and integrate multimedia elements (audio, video, animation, graphics) asย requiredย 
  • Publishย and testย contentย for LMS delivery (e.g., SCORM/xAPI),ย ensuring functionality and tracking accuracyย 
  • Perform quality assurance (QA)ย toย validateย usability, accessibility considerations, and design alignmentย ย 
  • Review feedback and revise deliverables based on agreed project requirementsย 
  • Maintainย organized project filesย requiredย to support delivery, revisions, and handoff perย contractualย requirementsย 
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders as needed to gather inputs andย validateย learning requirementsย 
  • Communicate risks, assumptions, orย scopeย considerations that mayย impactย project deliveryย 

Minimum Experience & Capabilitiesย 

  • Demonstrated professional experience delivering learning design and eLearning development services
  • Working knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologiesย 
  • Proficiencyย with Articulate Storyline and Rise (Vyond experience preferred)ย 
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet agreed milestones independentlyย 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills when working with client stakeholdersย 
  • Experience developing learning for remote or distributed audiencesย 

Nice-to-haveย 

  • Adobe After Effects experienceย 
  • Experience with learning management systemsย 
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)ย
