Job description

Daily Wire is seeking a talented Editor/Animator to bring DW Ventures productions to life by transforming raw footage into compelling, high-quality video content. This role works closely with the Director of Post-Production and Production leadership to apply creative vision, strong editing skills, and Daily Wire standards across a wide range of projects, contributing to engaging storytelling across our platforms.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Edit Daily Wire podcasts, shows, host original content, and creative/promotional videos (long- and short-form)
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Post-Production to execute creative vision and implement feedback
  • Craft compelling storytelling through precise assembly edits, string-outs, and final cuts
  • Create and maintain project templates and support efficient post-production workflows
  • Edit across multiple digital video formats, including converting, transcoding, and compressing media
  • Deliver high-quality content on time and on budget while managing multiple projects
  • Organize, archive, and manage footage, deliverables, and post-production assets
  • Communicate with team members, complete daily project logs, and support team operations as needed
Experience & Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional video editing experience with a solid understanding of video production workflows
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects (motion graphics required)
  • Strong knowledge of digital media standards, including codecs, formats, resolutions, and frame rates
  • Proven assembly and editorial experience with strong visual sensibility, pacing, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and apply creative feedback from leadership
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and workflow efficiency
  • G Suite proficiency; audio mixing and color correction experience preferred but not required
