Job description

Job Title: Architectural Visualization & Content Specialist
Location: Calgary, AB
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually
Overview
We are seeking a creative and technically driven Architectural Visualization & Content Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on producing compelling architectural renderings and engaging visual content that bring our projects to life, helping bridge the gap between design concepts and the final built outcome. You will play a key role in shaping how our projects are experienced, translating design intent into clear, compelling visual representations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality architectural renderings using a combination of AI and traditional tools, translating architectural models into clear and compelling visual narratives
  • Develop video and motion content, including short-form pieces, project walkthroughs, and simple animations that communicate spatial experience and design intent
  • Edit and refine both static and motion content using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects), CapCut, or similar
  • Maintain a high level of consistency and quality across all visual outputs, aligned with the firm's identity
  • Collaborate closely with architectural designers to ensure accuracy and fidelity to the design
  • Stay current with emerging tools and workflows in visualization and digital content creation
Qualifications
  • Experience creating architectural visualizations or renderings (AI or traditional)
  • Strong understanding of architecture, space, materials, and lighting
  • Proficiency with design and editing tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with video editing and motion tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar)
  • Strong visual judgment, composition, and pacing across both static and motion work
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative studio environment
Nice to Have
  • Experience with 3D modeling/rendering tools (Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, Blender, Lumion, etc.)
  • Background in architecture or architectural technology
  • Experience creating architectural walkthroughs or simple animations
  • Experience creating and managing social media content, with an eye for showcasing architectural work and engaging design-focused audiences
  • Experience with architectural photography and videography, including capturing on-site imagery and drone footage to support visual storytelling
