ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze information processing or computation needs and design improvements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, test procedures, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and link systems across departments to increase data compatibility.
  • Prepare and review data governance and system performance reports.
  • Conduct feasibility and cost-benefit analyses for data governance initiatives.
  • Recommend new tools, platforms, or data management methodologies.
  • Expand or modify systems to improve data quality or workflow efficiency.
  • Train staff and users on data quality standards and governance principles.
  • Review and analyze performance indicators to identify and correct data integrity issues.
  • Participate in or lead audits to evaluate data compliance and quality.
  • Assist in developing data dictionaries, policies, and standards. Proactively engage in ongoing self-learning activities to continuously expand knowledge and understanding across supported areas and related healthcare and technology domains, contributing to improved efficiency and quality of support provided.
  • Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and providing direct and open lines of communication.
  • Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System.
  • Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and information management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Data Analytics, or a closely related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and directly relevant experience in data management, information governance, analytics, or related areas. Experience working in a regulated or healthcare environment is preferred.

Candidates with experience in data quality management, reporting, or business intelligence tools are encouraged to apply. Professional certifications in data management or governance are advantageous but not required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram format. The ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
