Booth Creek Wagyu is a family-owned beef company built on a vertically integrated model that gives us control of every step, from ranch to final cut. Our cattle are raised on the rolling tallgrass prairie north of Manhattan, Kansas at Booth Creek Wagyu Ranch, where careful attention to genetics, nutrition, and animal care sets the foundation for exceptional beef. They are finished through our Wagyu Feeders operation, where a focus on animal health, ethical care, and consistent nutrition helps develop the marbling and flavor Wagyu is known for. Processing takes place at Meatworks of Kansas, our USDA-inspected harvest and fabrication facility, allowing us to oversee harvest, aging, and cutting while maintaining strict quality standards and full transparency. Through a combination of e-commerce and retail sales, Booth Creek Wagyu delivers premium beef directly to customers who value craftsmanship, consistency, and knowing exactly where their food comes from. 

Job Description:  

As a Meat Packager, you’ll play a key role in preparing and packaging products for customers. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same. You’ll learn a wide range of skills, from packaging and processing to understanding meat cuts and supporting customer orders. 

Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Package fresh meat products accurately and efficiently  
  • Assist with seasoning, sausage making, and smoked products  
  • Learn meat cuts and basic beef grading  
  • Support customer orders and ensure accuracy  
  • Help maintain records and track orders  
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards  
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe 

Education & Experience 

  • Proven experience in operations coordination, plant administration, or similar role  
  • Experience in food production, meat processing, or USDA-regulated environments preferred not required 

Required Skills & Abilities:  

  • Must be 18 years or older  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment  
  • Willingness to learn meat packaging and processing skills  
  • Ability to safely operate equipment (training provided)  
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship  
  • Commitment to safety and following all protocols
