Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Sign-on Bonus: $1,500
Schedule: Full-time | Four 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays (every other)

What You'll Do

As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you'll practice at the top of your license by:

  • Performing patient assessments and obtaining medical histories
  • Safely restraining patients using Fear Free techniques
  • Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures
  • Performing dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
  • Collecting laboratory samples and running in-house diagnostics
  • Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
  • Placing and maintaining intravenous catheters
  • Taking and positioning patients for digital radiographs
  • Educating clients on preventive care, medications, and treatment plans
  • Maintaining accurate medical records
  • Collaborating with veterinarians and the hospital team to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications

  • Current CVT credential required
  • Ideal minimum of 1 year of experience as a credentialed veterinary technician
  • Strong technical and anesthesia monitoring skills
  • Excellent communication and client education abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
