Job description

Paws and Claws is seeking a volunteer to help us create and implement API's to connect our various platforms and streamline how our software systems communicate. By building reliable integrations between our tools, you will help automate workflows and ensure our data flows smoothly to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build & Maintain Integrations: Design and implement reliable API connections between third-party platforms and internal tools.
  • Streamline Workflows: Creatively map and structure data exchange so different software systems communicate seamlessly.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear, basic documentation outlining how the platforms interact and how data moves between them.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Comfortable working with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON data formats.
  • Creative problem-solving skills when connecting platforms that do not natively integrate.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate technical updates clearly.

This can be fully remote! Paws and Claws is located in Evanston and onsite work is welcome. We are flexible on timing and days.
