Adobe Animal Hospital is hiring! Located near Mt. Diablo in Concord, CA, our veterinary clinic is known for treating pets-and their people-like family. If you're a veterinarian (DVM/VMD) who values teamwork, great support, and practicing high-quality medicine in a welcoming and well-run clinic, you'll feel right at home with us.
We're currently seeking a veterinarian to join our kind, long-standing team. What makes us stand out is our committed and highly skilled support crew and incredible clients.
Get to know us:

  • 2-doctor practice looking to add a 3rd doctor.
  • Incredibly kind and collaborative team!
  • Skilled doctors, one of which is a board-certified pathologist at Davis part time.
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Collaborative, communicative doctors who work closely with techs and assistants
  • Well-equipped with digital x-ray, dental radiography, cold laser & ultrasound.
  • Open Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays
  • Flexible scheduling with room to accommodate multiple procedure days (surgery/dental), if desired
Support Team:
  • Highly utilized support team-assist with in-house lab work, blood draws, and more. Staff ensure doctors are on track and supported throughout the day
  • 2 RVTs, 1 Veterinary Assistant, 1 dedicated dental tech (who's amazing!), and great anesthesiologist support. ***Adding a 3rd RVT as well.
  • 1:1 doctor-to-tech/assistant ratios
Compensation:
Our doctors are productive, efficient, and well-supported to do their best work. We're happy to tailor compensation based on your experience and schedule. * Compensation based on a 40-hour per week schedule.

Qualifications:
  • All levels of experience
  • DVM or VMD
  • We require a valid California veterinary license and ability to obtain a DEA license
  • In addition to high-quality medicine and surgical skills, we are looking for doctors with excellent client communication and customer service skills as well as a dedication to continued education.
  • The role has the opportunity to grow into medical director leadership.

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. The salary range for this opportunity is $140,000 - $200,000 annually. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. You will be provided more detailed information about compensation and benefits for your specific location.
