Job Title: In Vivo Technician

Job Description

Join our innovative team as an In Vivo Technician, where you'll handle a variety of animals including pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, mice, and rats. This role involves performing injections, weight checks, observations, and other essential tasks to support laboratory testing in compliance with established protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare test articles, materials, and animals in accordance with protocols and procedures.
  • Review documentation and associated data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform routine testing activities and conduct appropriate data analysis.
  • Communicate testing schedules and updates to management as necessary.
  • Prepare, label, and maintain reagents, extracts, and test articles required for laboratory testing.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records, including logbooks, worksheets, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor and replenish laboratory supplies and ensure testing equipment is properly maintained.
  • Perform routine calculations, interpret test results, and escalate findings to management.
  • Conduct and document daily animal health assessments.
  • Administer test articles or extracts according to established protocols and study requirements.
  • Perform necropsies when required.
  • Ensure proper animal care and welfare in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections and operational checks of laboratory equipment.
  • Support laboratory inventory management, including ordering supplies when needed.
  • Interface with clients and regulatory auditors during audits and inspections.

Pay and Benefits
