These internships provide opportunities to learn about animal care, behavior, conservation, and veterinary practices under the supervision of professionals. They are valuable for those considering careers in animal science, veterinary medicine, or wildlife conservation, and often include both practical work and educational components.

During an Animal Internship Summer program, interns typically engage in a variety of hands-on tasks such as assisting with animal feeding, habitat maintenance, health checks, and enrichment activities. You may also support staff during educational programs or public demonstrations, depending on the organization's focus. These experiences are designed to build practical skills in animal care and foster collaboration with veterinarians, animal trainers, and other interns.
