Job description

ServiceNow DeveloperAbout the Role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team, with a primary focus on Flow Designer and the development of large-scale, complex automated workflows. You will work with IT and business leadership, architects, and service delivery teams to deliver sophisticated, production-grade ServiceNow solutions that drive real operational outcomes.

This is a hands-on developer role. You will be in the platform every day, building.

The Core Requirement: Flow Designer

Flow Designer expertise is the defining requirement of this position. We need a developer who can architect and own complex workflow builds end-to-end — not someone with surface-level familiarity. That means:

  • Building large, multi-stage workflows spanning multiple systems, user groups, and service domains
  • Implementing eBonding integrations that automate ticket creation, updates, and resolution handoffs with external vendors
  • Automating Order Guide fulfilment with conditional logic and dynamic routing
  • Refactoring legacy Workflow Editor automations into Flow Designer with improved error handling and maintainability
  • Developing reusable subflows and action components to standardize patterns across the platform
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy complex workflows, catalogue items, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and Transform Maps
  • Build and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise systems in a hybrid cloud environment
  • Apply custom scripting — GlideScript, JavaScript, AngularJS, Jelly — to extend platform capabilities
  • Manage platform upgrades, patching, and release management including regression testing of workflow-dependent processes
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to platform governance and coding standards
Required Qualifications
  • Flow Designer (5+ years) — complex, production-grade workflow builds; eBonding, vendor integrations, and order guide automation required
  • ServiceNow platform development (5+ years) — scripting, Business Rules, UI/Forms, Transform Maps, SOAP/REST integrations, GlideScript, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, Jelly
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator — required; Certified Application Developer preferred
  • ITIL & IT architecture experience (3–5 years)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or equivalent
