Job Summary
  • Seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting mission and business applications
  • The successful candidate will work individually and as part of an Agile development team to design, implement, test, troubleshoot, and improve software components based on documented requirements
  • This position has a strong front‑end focus, with Angular and RxJS experience highly desired, while supporting integration with Java/Spring Boot‑based services and modern enterprise platforms
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems
  • Support processing‑intensive analytics, large‑scale data applications, real‑time systems, and mission/business information systems
  • Analyze documented requirements and translate them into software designs and components
  • Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular and RxJS
  • Review and test software components to ensure adherence to design and functional requirements
  • Document test results and resolve software problem reports
  • Debug existing software and implement corrective actions
  • Apply software development and design methodologies appropriate to the operating environment
  • Provide input to system and software design, including hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS alternatives
  • Perform requirements analysis and decomposition from system‑level requirements to individual software components
  • Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, testers, and other technical stakeholders
  • Support integration of front‑end applications with back‑end services, APIs, databases, and enterprise messaging platforms
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD activities, and technical documentation
Required Qualifications
  • Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in related technical field
  • Demonstrated software engineering experience developing and maintaining complex applications
  • Experience with Angular and RxJS for front‑end/UI development
  • Experience analyzing requirements and developing software solutions from documented specifications
  • Experience reviewing, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting software components
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team
  • Experience with software design, development, integration, and testing methodologies
  • Familiarity with a solid subset of the following:

  • Experience with enterprise messaging and event‑driven architectures using JMS or Kafka
  • Familiarity with relational and search‑oriented data stores such as Oracle and Elasticsearch
  • Experience working with COTS and GOTS products and evaluating software reuse opportunities

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
