The Role
Fidelity's Workplace Investing group is looking for a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join us in the design and development of mission critical web applications and financial tools using the latest technology stack in a collaborative and engaging environment. As a part of WI distributed Financial Operations Chapter, you will partner closely with business, operations & engineering teams to implement next generation technology solutions to transform our operational landscape.The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
  • Principal Full Stack Java Engineer with 9 to 12 years of experience in software delivery, with at least 3 years in complex IT projects/initiatives.
  • Experience building applications using a broad stack of technologies (UI, API, data, etc.) such as Angular, SQL, Java, J2EE stack, Spring/Spring Boot, Azure/AWS, SQL, Maven or Ant, Jenkins, CICD pipeline, Git and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Should be equally good on Angular and Java.
  • Ability to work with Architects and able to influence them.
  • Ability to perform technical analysis of sophisticated applications
  • Experience working in agile teams and sound knowledge of agile scrum methodology
  • A quick learner and willing to take initiative.
  • Experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners
  • Very good communication.
