Job description

Senior Software Engineer

ABCorp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design and scale our Content Platform – a cloud-native system that integrates with Quadient and related content services to power secure communications, document generation, and operational workflows across our card issuance ecosystem.

This platform connects customer-facing portal experiences with backend content orchestration, enabling secure document production, templating, reporting, and communications in a regulated financial environment.

You will play a key role in building APIs, services, and portal capabilities that tap into Quadient and other content APIs, ensuring content systems are scalable, secure, and deeply integrated into our Client Experience Platform and manufacturing workflows.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on platform integration, backend services, and modern frontend capabilities.

This is an in-person role based in Boston, MA.

How You'll Make a Difference

  • Design and build scalable APIs and services that integrate with Quadient and other content platforms.
  • Develop backend systems for document orchestration, templating, versioning, and secure content workflows.
  • Extend portal capabilities (React and/or Angular) to deliver intuitive content management and reporting experiences.
  • Ensure content systems are secure-by-design, with role-based access control, audit trails, and compliance alignment.
  • Integrate content and communications workflows into card issuance and manufacturing processes.
  • Improve system reliability, observability, and performance across environments.
  • Collaborate with Product and UX to deliver elegant, secure, and intuitive content experiences.
  • Contribute to platform architecture decisions across APIs, integrations, and data flows.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and code quality.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise platform environments.
  • Strong backend experience building RESTful APIs and distributed services.
  • Experience integrating third-party enterprise platforms (e.g., Quadient, CCM systems, document automation tools, or similar).
  • Experience designing systems for document management, templating, or content workflows is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with React and/or Angular for modern web application development.
  • Experience working with Azure cloud services (AWS/GCP familiarity is a plus).
  • Understanding of secure access controls, audit logging, and compliance-aware system design.
  • Strong grasp of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience working within cross-functional product teams alongside Product and UX.
  • Familiarity with regulated industries (payments, fintech, healthcare, identity) is a plus.
  • Comfort using modern AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude (including Claude Code), Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT Enterprise, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work onsite in Boston, MA.

****Please note there is no visa sponsorship for this position

Why Join ABCorp?

  • Opportunity to shape payment, authentication, identity, and additive manufacturing solutions that impact everyday lives.
  • Work at the intersection of fintech, security, and enterprise SaaS with an established market leader.
  • A company with a rich legacy of innovation and trust.
  • Collaborative global team and dynamic work environment.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

Strong professional growth and development opportunities.
