Certifications and familiarity with related tools like RxJS and Angular CLI can also influence compensation.

Is Angular still used in 2026?

Angular remains a popular framework for Angular developers in 2026, especially for building large-scale, enterprise web applications. Its continued updates, strong community support, and integration with TypeScript make it a relevant skill for front-end development roles. Staying current with Angular versions and related tools is important for job prospects in this field.

How do Angular Developers typically collaborate with UX/UI designers during a project?

Angular Developers often work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure that the application's interface is both visually appealing and functionally robust. This collaboration usually involves regular meetings to discuss design mockups, user flows, and interactive elements. Developers provide feedback on technical feasibility while designers clarify user experience goals, leading to iterative improvements. Effective communication and a shared understanding of project objectives are key to successfully integrating design and development efforts.

Is Angular developer in demand?

Angular developers are in high demand due to the widespread use of Angular for building dynamic web applications. Companies seek developers skilled in Angular, TypeScript, and related frameworks to maintain and develop modern front-end solutions, making this a promising career path with strong job growth prospects.

Is Angular frontend or fullstack?

Angular is a front-end web framework used for building user interfaces and single-page applications. While primarily focused on the client side, Angular developers may work alongside back-end developers or full-stack developers who handle server-side logic and databases. Angular skills are often combined with knowledge of APIs, TypeScript, and other tools for full-stack development.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Angular Developer, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Angular Developer, you need a solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, web development fundamentals, and experience with Angular frameworks, often backed by a relevant computer science degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with tools like Angular CLI, RESTful APIs, Git, and testing frameworks such as Jasmine or Karma is common, and certifications in web development can be advantageous. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills help developers excel in collaborative, fast-paced environments. These skills enable efficient development of scalable, maintainable web applications and ensure alignment with project requirements and team goals.

Job description

We Are

ARE YOU READY to step up and take your technology expertise to the next level? There is never a typical day at Accenture - but that's exactly why we love it.

Cloud First - Software Development is a high-performing team to join! We focus on client adoption of disruptive technologies, technology architecture, and providing specialized skills related to integration, custom software development, application modernization, agile, and more. We help our clients with the most complex projects - building modern, production-grade applications from the ground up using the best tools available, including AI.

You Are

You are an AI-Powered Application Developer with strong experience building custom web applications. You're highly analytical, thrive in solving complex problems, and enjoy building scalable, high-quality software from the ground up - not just configuring existing tools.

What sets you apart is how you work. You don't just use AI occasionally - it's central to your development workflow. You know how to write precise technical specifications that AI coding agents can act on, how to direct tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot to generate and test code at scale, and how to review and own the output with the same craft and discipline you'd apply to code you wrote yourself. Spec-driven development isn't a buzzword to you; it's how you consistently ship more, faster, without sacrificing quality.

You're comfortable owning workstreams, collaborating with stakeholders, and continuously looking for ways to raise the bar on delivery speed and quality through AI-augmented ways of working.

The Work

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver modern web applications for enterprise clients. Responsibilities may include:

  • Translate business and system requirements into detailed technical specifications, then leverage AI coding agents to accelerate implementation across the full stack

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain production web applications - front end (React, Angular, or similar modern frameworks) and back end (Java, .NET/C#, or equivalent)

  • Apply AI-native software development practices, using tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor for code generation, testing, refactoring, and documentation

  • Design and implement front-end screens, REST/GraphQL APIs, and integrations

  • Build and deploy solutions using cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines - primarily on GCP, with exposure to AWS or Azure

  • Use containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and observability tooling to ship and operate reliable, scalable applications

  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions

  • Model AI-native development practices for the team and advise clients on adopting similar ways of working

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a full-stack developer

  • Strong front-end skills in at least one modern framework (React, Angular, or similar) with solid TypeScript proficiency

  • Strong back-end skills in Java or .NET/C#, including API design and data layer integration

  • Proven experience building custom applications - not just off-the-shelf implementations

  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI developer tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to deliver real production software, with measurably higher output

  • Hands-on experience with spec-driven development: writing structured technical specifications that direct AI coding agents to produce production-quality code, and the discipline to review and own the output

  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native delivery - containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and at least one major cloud platform; GCP experience is preferred

  • Solid understanding of software design principles, APIs, and integration patterns

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous requirements into working software

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our North America Market. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking multi-national teams, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience mentoring junior developers or helping establish AI-native development practices on a team

  • Familiarity with integrating AI/ML services into applications (inference APIs, embeddings, or model-as-a-service endpoints)

  • Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, or distributed systems at enterprise scale

  • Exposure to enterprise security and compliance requirements (OAuth, RBAC, data residency, audit logging)

  • Experience with data layer design - relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, or integration patterns

Why Join Us?

  • Work on meaningful, custom-built solutions for leading enterprise clients

  • Be part of a team at the forefront of AI-native software development

  • High-ownership, high-impact work environment where your AI-augmented productivity directly shapes what the team can deliver

  • Opportunity to define what modern software development looks like - and show clients what's possible
