Job description

Job Summary:
Bass Pro Shops is focused on providing high-quality retail experiences, and they are seeking an Angular Developer 3 to ensure the stability and enhancement of their application systems. This role involves leading and mentoring other developers, addressing technical issues, and collaborating with project teams to deliver maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Serves as a contributor and member to project teams in the applications area.
• Researches problems to determine the cause and determine effective approaches for resolution.
• Completes administration tasks, such as status reporting and documentation.
• Creates technical documentation and diagrams to support application analysis and design.
• Participates in formal and informal code reviews, assists team members, and works with QA teams to support quality assurance efforts.
• Performs analysis and design for programs and learns and adapts to new applications, languages, and techniques.
• Communicates with business users to identify improvements, support day-to-day operations, and document technical solutions.
• Provides on-call support as needed.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of experience
• Passion for software development and continuous improvement
• Advanced experience with Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience building reusable Angular components, services, and scalable front-end architectures
• Strong understanding of modern web architecture, REST APIs, application performance, and responsive design
• Experience designing and developing scalable, maintainable web applications
• Experience using Agentic AI tools and AI-assisted development workflows to improve productivity and software quality
• Experience with GitHub for version control and CI/CD
• Familiarity with Docker, DevOps practices, and deployment automation
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical design decisions and architecture decisions
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Jira
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver complex solutions
Preferred:
• A certificate of training or expert in one of the systems supported
• Strong knowledge of Java/Spring Boot and SQL
• Retail industry experience
