Job description

We are seeking a Java full stack developer for a 12-month contract position based in Tempe, Arizona. This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments across the full software development life cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement large-scale applications in hosted production environments
  • Work across the full software development life cycle
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
  • Build and optimize front-end interfaces using modern frameworks
  • Design and manage database solutions with attention to query performance tuning
  • Deploy and manage applications using containerization and cloud infrastructure
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for build and deployment processes
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure using observability and logging tools
  • Collaborate with team members using development and communication tools
Qualifications Required
  • 8 years of professional software development experience
  • 8 years of experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Proficiency in Java Spring Boot
  • Experience with REST web services
  • Experience with the Spring Framework
  • Database and persistence experience including PostgreSQL and Object/Relational Mapping
  • Experience with cloud-based development and management
  • Experience with Docker and containerization
