Student Rad Tech PRN

Job Summary and Qualifications

Role Summary: The 2nd year radiology student, under supervision, is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients. Radiology Interns are required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex radiographic equipment, and assist Radiologic Technologist, Physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System. Continuing education learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function with constant supervision from licensed technologist and/or physician to produce superior quality of radiographic images. The Radiology Intern must demonstrate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Responsibility for designated areas and procedures is assumed.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Required Education: Current second year student in JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.
  • Preferred Education: None
  • Required License: BLS and required clinical from JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.
  • Preferred License: None
  • Required Experience: Must be enrolled in 2nd year Radiography program. Minimum six months clinical experience in multi-disciplined radiology department. Approved experience gained through a clinical education program is acceptable.
  • Preferred Experience: None
