Job description

Our organization is on the lookout for patient-focused, collaborative, and nurturing Anesthesiologists to enhance our expanding teams throughout Indiana. Available locations include IU Health Methodist & University Hospitals in Indianapolis and IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. This position presents a thrilling chance to work in both academic and community hospital environments, emphasizing clinical excellence, education, and patient care.
Position Highlights

  • Full-time clinical role encompassing a blend of inpatient and outpatient duties

  • Diverse case types may involve general, ENT, GYN, neuro, thoracic, cardiovascular, obstetric, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and more

  • Engagement in educating medical students, residents, and fellows, with the possibility of a faculty position through the IU School of Medicine

  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate faculty projects, research, and quality initiatives

  • On-call duties required (varies by location)

  • Collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists and anesthetists

  • Visa sponsorship (H-1B) is available

Qualifications

  • Completion of residency training in Anesthesiology (mandatory)

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology (mandatory)

  • Must be eligible for or currently possess an Indiana medical license (mandatory)

  • Preferred subspecialty training or interest in obstetric, neuro, or cardiovascular anesthesia

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential

  • Open to both seasoned professionals and recent graduates
