Training may include both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience, allowing students to develop the skills needed to assist anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists in various healthcare settings. Hands-on experiences include preparing anesthesia equipment, assisting with patient setup, and learning to troubleshoot common equipment issues under supervision. You will often work closely with anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and surgical teams, gaining exposure to a variety of surgical procedures and patient care scenarios. This direct interaction helps build confidence and competence in real operating room environments.
