Our healthcare client in Anderson, SC is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a permanent position.
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
CRNAs are professional Registered Nurses duly licensed and certified to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, registered with the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and have completed a graduate curriculum focusing on clinical judgment and critical thinking in all aspects of anesthesia care. CRNAs will be medically supervised by Anesthesia Department anesthesiologists. The CRNA must have specific qualifications and be willing to work within the boundaries of the stated scope of practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation.
  • Anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence.
  • Post-anesthesia care.
  • Peri-anesthetic and clinical support functions.
To include:
  • Monitor patients during surgery.
  • Preparing and administering drugs before anesthesia.
  • Managing patients' airways, and pulmonary status during surgery.
  • Closely observing their physical reaction to drugs.
Qualifications:
  • Current SC RN license.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program, SC recognition.
  • Current certification from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
