Salary: The budgeted salary range for this position is $320,000 to $610,000, based on a full-time equivalent and including additional earnings from participation in the overnight call pool. Salary is competitive and based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and budget constraints.

Position Summary
The University of Illinois at Chicago's Department of Anesthesiology is seeking additional Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologists; subspecialty fellowship training in Cardiac, Critical Care/ICU, Neurosurgical, or Pediatric Anesthesiology is preferred but not required.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia services.
  • Train residents and fellows.
  • Medically direct CRNAs.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

  • Minimum Qualifications
    Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist(s).
    Preferred Qualifications
    Subspecialty fellowship training in Cardiac, Critical Care/ICU, Neurosurgical, or Pediatric Anesthesiology is preferred but not required. For Cardiac and Neurosurgical Anesthesiology, a minimum of 3 years of substantial experience is also acceptable.
