Job description

The work you do directly improves how people take care of themselves and their families.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build intuitive,mobilefirstexperiences that are accessibleand easy to use.

  • Translate user stories into efficient, maintainable, and tested code.

  • Ensure applications are secure, performant, and dependable.

  • Integrate mobile apps with backend services, APIs, and external data sources.

  • Identifyand fix issues, continuously improvingoverall applicationperformance.

  • Collaborate with Designers, Product Owners, Quality Engineers, and other Software Engineers to delivercustomerfocusedsolutions.

  • Participate in design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews to share knowledge and raise quality.

  • Continuously learn and explorenew technologiesthat can improve how customers experience our products.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience buildingAndroidapplications that integrate with remote services and APIs.

  • 1+ years of experience creating UI components with Jetpack Compose.

  • Solid understanding Androidarchitecture, performance optimization, and mobile security.

  • 1+ years of experience working with Git for version control (GitHub preferred).

  • Some experience or familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

  • Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring products work well for everyone.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • To think beyond the code and consider how your work impacts customers.

  • Comfort in Agile/Scrum environments and enjoy working iteratively.

  • Take ownership of your work, communicate clearly, and collaborate openly with teammates.

Salary range is expected to be between

$86,100.00 CAD - $136,100.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
