Job Title: Software Engineer IOS/Android - Advanced
Location: Columbus OH
Job Description:
  • We are looking for an Advanced iOS/Android Developer Agentic AI Field Delivery Engineer (FDE) who can design, develop, integrate, and deploy intelligent mobile experiences powered by Generative AI and Agentic AI.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in iOS and/or Android application development, combined with experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into mobile applications. The role will involve working closely with client stakeholders, solution architects, AI engineers, and product teams to build production-ready agentic mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality iOS and/or Android applications using modern mobile development frameworks.
  • Build mobile experiences that integrate Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and agentic workflows.
  • Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, AI services, and enterprise platforms.
  • Implement AI-powered capabilities such as conversational interfaces, intelligent recommendations, task automation, and agent-driven workflows.
  • Integrate applications with LLM/AI platforms such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, or equivalent services.
  • Work with agentic frameworks and SDKs to enable mobile applications to interact with AI agents and enterprise tools.
  • Develop secure authentication and authorization flows, API integrations, session management, and data handling.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to consume models, agents, APIs, and orchestration services from mobile applications.
  • Translate client requirements into scalable technical solutions and working prototypes.
  • Participate in client discussions, technical workshops, architecture sessions, and solution demonstrations.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, API latency, AI response handling, memory usage, and mobile reliability.
  • Implement robust error handling, observability, logging, analytics, and monitoring for AI-powered mobile experiences.
  • Ensure applications follow mobile security, privacy, accessibility, and enterprise development standards.
  • Work in an FDE-style role, rapidly understanding client problems, building proof-of-concepts, iterating based on feedback, and taking solutions toward production.
Required Technical Skills Mobile Development:
  • Advanced iOS: Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit, Xcode, iOS SDK, REST API integration, asynchronous programming.
  • Advanced Android: Kotlin/Java, Jetpack Compose/Android SDK, Android Studio, REST API integration, asynchronous programming.
  • Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, including MVVM, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, state management, and modularization.
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD, testing, debugging, profiling, and app deployment.
AI / Agentic AI:
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
  • Experience integrating LLM capabilities into mobile or enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with agent orchestration, tool/function calling, RAG, context management, memory, and multi-step agent workflows.
  • Exposure to one or more AI platforms such as:
    • OpenAI
    • Google Gemini / Vertex AI
    • AWS Bedrock
    • Microsoft Azure AI
    • Experience working with AI/agent SDKs or frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI Agent SDK, Google ADK, or similar is preferred.
APIs & Cloud:
  • Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, JWT, WebSockets, and API integration patterns.
  • Understanding of microservices and cloud-based architectures.
  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience integrating mobile applications with enterprise backend services and third-party APIs.
Security:
  • Understanding of mobile application security best practices.
  • Experience with authentication, authorization, OAuth/OIDC, secure API communication, encryption, and secure storage.
  • Awareness of enterprise security, privacy, and data protection requirements.
FDE / Client-Facing Skills:
  • Strong ability to work directly with enterprise clients and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand ambiguous business problems and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Strong prototyping and rapid development mindset.
  • Ability to conduct technical demos and explain complex mobile/AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving AI technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, AI/ML, Architecture, Security, and Client teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of overall mobile development experience with strong expertise in iOS and/or Android.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI / Agentic AI integrations.
  • Experience delivering AI-powered mobile applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with financial services, healthcare, retail, or other highly regulated industries is a plus.
  • Experience with mobile analytics, observability, and production monitoring.
  • Experience working in consulting, professional services, or an FDE/customer-facing engineering environment is highly preferred.
