The project re-architects Apple’s core provisioning platform, critical for transforming user credentials into Wallet
‘Passes'. The existing system is an outdated, complex, and monolithic architecture, leading to scalability and
maintainability issues across diverse offerings. The provisioning platform project is building a new
domain-driven, layered architecture to unify provisioning across all Wallet offerings. The project aims to create a
flexible, scalable, and consistent platform, designed for faster development velocity and enhanced resilience. It
supports both Platform-as-a-Service and custom composition models for diverse integration needs.
