Android Developer Intern

Eulerity

New York, NY • On-site

$16 - $18/hr

Internship

Job description

Why This Role Exists
Eulerity is an AI-native marketing automation platform - not a legacy tool with AI bolted on. We serve enterprise brands like Mastercard, UPS Store, Uber Eats, and European Wax Center, automating digital advertising across thousands of franchise locations. We've crossed $10M ARR, largely bootstrapped, and we're accelerating.
Our Android app is a critical surface for how clients interact with the platform - and we're looking for an intern who doesn't just write Kotlin, but builds with AI as their primary development tool. At Eulerity, AI-first development isn't a buzzword - it's how we actually ship code. Our engineers use Claude Code, agentic coding workflows, and prompt engineering as core parts of their daily process. We expect you to do the same.
You'll be building features that real users depend on, not a sandbox project that lives in a repo no one checks.
If you've shipped an app, already use AI coding tools to move faster than your peers, and know the difference between a good prompt and a great system - read on.
The Fast Facts
  • Compensation: $16-18/hour
  • Location: NYC Midtown - 3 days/week in office
  • Schedule: 30 hours/week
  • AI Tools: Unlimited. Claude Code, Copilot, whatever makes you sharp - we don't gatekeep tools here.
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Perks: In-office lunches and unlimited snacks
What You'll Actually Do
This isn't a "shadow a senior dev and update button colors" internship. You'll own real work that ships to real users.
  • Take an active role in developing, testing, and maintaining our Android app using AI-first development practices - Agentic coding tools are your daily drivers
  • Implement new features end-to-end, from design through deployment, leveraging AI at every stage: architecture decisions, code generation, debugging, testing, and review
  • Write effective prompts and system instructions as a core engineering skill
  • Collaborate with engineers, UX designers, and product managers across all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Contribute to building smart, adaptive interfaces that leverage AI to personalize the user experience
Who You Are
We're looking for someone who's technically sharp, builds with AI by default, and is energized by shipping things that matter - not just completing tickets.
Non-Negotiables
  • Currently a student based in the NYC tri-state area
  • At least 1 year of Android development experience using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android Studio
  • Proficient in Kotlin (Java experience is a plus) with a solid understanding of the Android SDK and frameworks
  • You already build with AI - Claude Code, Copilot, or similar agentic coding tools are part of how you work, not something you've tried once
  • Strong prompting skills - you understand how to write effective prompts and system instructions to get high-quality output from LLMs
  • Strong UI development skills in Jetpack Compose / XML layouts and hands-on experience with Android libraries and APIs (Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt, Room, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Android design patterns and architectures (e.g., MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture)
  • Experience with Git
  • You can take ownership of tasks and work independently, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment

Big Differentiators
  • You're genuinely AI-native - you've restructured your entire development workflow around AI tools because it makes you dramatically faster, not because it's trendy
  • Experience building or fine-tuning prompts for code generation, debugging, or automated testing workflows
  • You've shipped something real outside of coursework: a side project, a hackathon app, a Play Store release - something you took from idea to existence
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development frameworks
  • Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools (e.g., JUnit, Espresso)
  • Comfort working with large volumes of data and thinking about performance at scale
What Makes Eulerity Different
We are not a company that talks about AI. We are a company that runs on it.
  • Our platform uses cross-learning AI agents that optimize across thousands of advertiser accounts simultaneously - not just one
  • We have deep integration moats built over years with Google, Meta, Apple, and Microsoft - a barrier competitors can't replicate quickly
  • We are lean, profitable, and intentional about every hire - even interns get real scope from week one
  • Your work will ship. It will be seen by real users, measured in real results, and recognized on the team

This is a place where interns build things that matter.
