ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics LLC is seeking a skilled Application Developer to join our internal IT team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications that support our business operations. This position is ideal for a motivated full-stack Java developer who enjoys working across the application lifecycle-from architecture and coding to troubleshooting and production support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform full-stack Java application development, including front-end, back-end, and database components
  • Design, code, debug, test, and document software applications in accordance with established standard
  • Provide timely troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical support for production systems
    Collaborate with internal and external customers, system users, and Corporate IT to gather requirements and refine solutions
  • Apply strong analytical and conceptual thinking to solve complex technical challenges
  • Demonstrate professionalism, ethical decision-making, and a commitment to high-quality results

Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in:
    • Java/Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and JavaScript
    • PostgreSQL or other relational database (i.e. Oracle)
    • Git source control
    • Web application design and development
    • HTML, CSS, JSON, UX fundamentals
    • XML

Preferred Skills:
  • Agile software development methodologies
  • Agile Project Management tools such as Jira/Confluence (preferred) or similar alternatives
  • REST and SOAP web services
  • XSLT, XSD
  • Python
  • Android development
  • Jenkins build and deployment pipelines
  • Experience with ERP or financial/business systems
  • Experience in the government contracting industry
